Koningsdag 2016 Reception

posted in: Dutch Community, Events, News | 0

This year we are celebrating Koningsdag on Wednesday 27th April with a reception from 7pm until 10pm at Holland House.

Entry is free with a cash bar for drinks and food.

We will have live music from a band called ‘Group Therapy’. One of the band members is Arjan van de Boon, who we know from the Dutch Connection. Here is a little about them…

Group Therapy are an eclectic collection of graciously aged glam and jazz rockers, balladeers and folk aficionados. Hailing from four countries and the Waikato, their songs cover the world with the dulcet harmonies of three male voices. They love making fun of themselves and their ultra-ordinary lives. After an inspirational session of musical Group Therapy and mellow melodic folk rock, the guys always feel an awful lot better and younger! At times their audiences have been known to also feel the rejuvenating rocking of the healing… and they even practice a Dutch song, especially for you! Come and have a great evening.
