Letter of Denial no longer a standard requirement for passport application

As of the 1 April 2016 the Embassy back office tasks have been moved to the Ministry in The Hague. With this move the policy regarding the requirements for a passport application has been changed. It is now no longer a standard requirement to provide an authenticated Letter of Denial when you have lived in New Zealand for more than 5 years with a residence visa. Please refer to the new checklist available on the NL Embassy website. You will also receive a link to the checklist when you make an appointment for a passport application.

For more information please call the Embassy on 0800 DUTCH EMBASSY (0800 388243) or visit their website.
